Senior Cruz Thomas has been named a St. Louis Post-Dispatch Player to Watch for the 2026 cross country season.

Thomas enters his senior season following an impressive junior campaign. At last year's Class 3 State Championship, Cruz finished 6th individually. His state run of 16:04.50 was the third fastest PR in school history.

Cruz's individual success helping propel the Wildcats to a District Championship and a 2nd-place finish at the state meet as a team.

With his senior season ahead, Thomas will look to build on last year's success and help the Wildcats make another run at the top of the state field.

Congratulations to Cruz on this well-deserved recognition!
