Westminster Class of 2021 alumna Margo O'Meara continues to make waves at the collegiate level, delivering an outstanding performance at the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships.
Now a redshirt senior in her first season at the University of Miami, O'Meara captured gold in the 1-meter dive, posting an impressive six-dive score of 333.45. She followed that performance with a silver medal in the 3-meter springboard, finishing with a score of 323.60, just behind her Miami teammate.
The championship marks the third ACC Diving Championship title of O'Meara's career. She previously won two conference titles during the 2021–22 season while competing for the Duke University, claiming gold in both the 1-meter and platform events. Her continued success in the ACC underscores her consistency and elite competitive edge across multiple diving disciplines.
O'Meara's dominance began long before her collegiate career. At Westminster, she became the only diver in Missouri state history to win four consecutive state diving championships. She still holds the Missouri state diving record with a remarkable score of 636.50, set during her junior year in 2020 — a mark that continues to stand as the benchmark for excellence in the state.
From rewriting the record books in Missouri to earning multiple ACC titles on one of college athletics' biggest stages, Margo O'Meara's legacy of excellence continues to grow. The Westminster community proudly celebrates her sustained success and the standard she continues to set in the sport of diving.
