The Westminster volleyball team hosted a Dig Pink game in support of the Side Out Foundation, raising $1,240 for research and care for metastatic breast cancer patients.
On the court, the Wildcats delivered a strong performance, defeating the Parkway Central Colts 3-1 with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, 25-13. The match was a celebration of both athletic excellence and community support, bringing players, families, and fans together for a meaningful cause.
Before the game, junior Emory Freesmeier was recognized for surpassing 500 career kills last week, a milestone that underscores her impact on the program.
The Wildcats now look forward to Senior Night on October 15 before their match up against Visitation Academy, honoring the seniors for their dedication to the team and the program.
