The Westminster girls volleyball team honored its four seniors in style, defeating the Visitation Academy Vivettes in straight sets, 3–0 (25–21, 25–19, 25–18), on Senior Night.
Before the match, the Wildcats celebrated seniors Elise Snyder, Sophia Arana, Vivian Sharlow, and Kamia Cleveland for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to the program. The team played with energy and precision throughout the night, feeding off the emotion of the occasion to control all three sets.
A special highlight of the evening came when senior setter Sophia Arana was recognized for achieving a major career milestone — 1,000 career assists. Her consistency and playmaking have been a cornerstone of the Wildcats' success throughout her career.
With the win, Westminster heads into the postseason with momentum and confidence. Next up, the Wildcats will open play in the Class 5 District 3 Tournament on October 23 at 7:00 PM, taking on the winner of Hazelwood Central and Ritenour.
