On Monday the golf team traveled to the Class 4 District 1 Tournament at Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington.

As a team, Westminster finished 5th in a field of 16 schools. Individually, the Wildcats had two qualifiers for the state tournament.

Sophomore Ben Weinstein had a steady round, finishing with an 80 (+8) which was good for 17th in the event. Sophomore Charlie Kruse had to battle back after being seven over following his ninth hole. A final cut line of 81 (+9) would require a solid back nine. Charlie was equal to the task, shooting even par for a final score of 79. Final score for the Wildcats are below.
