Westminster Ice Hockey honored its senior class on January 23, 2026, celebrating four Wildcats prior to their final regular season game against conference rival MICDS.
Seniors Aiden Albers, Jacob DeClue, Emerson Taylor, and April Watson (manager) were recognized before puck drop for their commitment and contributions to the program. The ceremony marked the culmination of years of dedication, leadership, and pride in wearing the Westminster jersey, with teammates, coaches, family, and fans on hand to applaud their impact.
Following the senior recognition, the Wildcats took the ice against MICDS in a hard-fought contest. Despite battling throughout the night, Westminster came up short in a 6–3 loss. Sophomore Archer Walker provided the offensive highlight for the Wildcats, recording a hat trick and accounting for all three Westminster goals.
While the final score didn't go Westminster's way, the evening served as a meaningful celebration of the senior class and a reminder of the competitive spirit that has defined the program all season. As the Wildcats turn their attention toward the postseason, the influence of this senior group will continue to be felt both on and off the ice.
