On Tuesday afternoon, Westminster tennis met Holt at the Woodsmill Tennis Club for their State Sectional match.

The match started out favorably for the Cats, with the team taking the win in all three of their doubles matches. 

Alan Walker and Noah Suthar finished off the Indians with victories in the first two singles matches of the afternoon, thrusting the Cats into the Class 2 State Final Four. This is the team's first final four since 2021 when they finished runner-up in Class 1.

The team will play Metro League rival MICDS at 9 a.m. on Friday in the semifinal match. The State Championship or 3rd place match will be played at 3 p.m. that same day.
