Sophomore Addie Dunsmoor has etched her name into the Westminster Christian Academy softball record book, setting a new school record for single-season home runs with nine.

Dunsmoor launched her record-breaking ninth home run over the fence during the Wildcats' 18th game of the season, an impressive 12-3 victory over Fort Zumwalt South in the opening game of the Fort Zumwalt East Tournament.

The previous school record of eight home runs was shared by Class of 2025 alumnae Allie Branstetter and Paige Branstetter, who set the mark during the fall 2024 season.

With  at least 13 games remaining on the schedule, Dunsmoor has plenty of opportunities to continue her outstanding season and add to her new record.

Congratulations to Addie on this incredible accomplishment
