The Westminster boys basketball team wrapped up its season at the Class 5 District 2 Tournament, held March 3, 5, and 7. The Wildcats entered the postseason with a strong 19–7 record, earning the #3 seed in the district bracket.
Westminster opened tournament play in the quarterfinals on March 3 at Vianney, taking on the #6 seed Windsor Owls. The Wildcats came out firing, building momentum early and carrying a commanding 32-point lead into halftime. Westminster continued its dominant performance in the second half, cruising to an 82–28 victory.'

The win advanced the Wildcats to a semifinal matchup against the #2 seed Vianney Griffins. The game proved to be a hard-fought contest, featuring multiple lead changes and intense play throughout. Vianney held a narrow five-point lead entering the fourth quarter, and the Griffins' offense found another gear down the stretch, extending the lead and eventually securing the win.

Despite the semifinal loss, the Wildcats capped off a successful season highlighted by strong performances and continued growth throughout the year.
