On a special night at the ballpark, the Westminster Christian Academy baseball program honored its 13 senior players and senior manager Coco Francisco before the final Metro League matchup of the season against the Whitfield Warriors.
The pregame ceremony recognized the commitment, growth, and future plans of a class that has helped shape the program both on and off the field.
Blake Branstetter – 3-year team member; attending the University of Missouri to study finance.
Landon Cassidy – 4-year team member; attending Eastern Illinois University to play soccer.
Ridge Cathcart – In the program since 7th grade; attending the University of Arkansas to study finance.
Carson Clark – In the program since 7th grade; attending Kansas State University to study strategic selling.
Luke Downey – Returned to baseball as a senior; attending the University of Kentucky to study finance.
Joey Fentress – In the program since 7th grade; attending Truman State University to play baseball.
Sean Gross – 6-year team member; attending the University of Missouri.
Casey Heironimus – 4-year team member; attending the University of Missouri to study civilÂ
engineering.
Jake Keane – In the program since 7th grade; attending the University of Missouri to study finance.
Cal Leighton – 6-year team member; attending Bradley University to play baseball and study business analytics.
Tristan Loehr – 6-year team member; attending Quincy University to play baseball and study business.
Ethan Martin – 4-year team member; attending the University of Kentucky to study business.
Asher Waitkus – 3-year team member; attending Rockhurst University to play baseball and study pre-med.
The team also gave a special thank-you to Coco Francisco, senior manager, for her dedication and service throughout the season.
