Earlier this week, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch released their list of Scholar Athletes for 2025.

The list features one student from every Metro Area school, and is awarded for excellence in the classroom, the competitive arena, and the community.

This year, senior Nevan Shively was the Wildcat selected. Nevan was four year member of the volleyball program and a two year member of the soccer program. He is ranked in the Top 10 in the academic standing in his class, and is very involved in the A/V program at Westminster.

Nevan accomplished many great things during his time at Westminster, all while battling health problems someone his age shouldn't have to bear.

Along with this recognition, he was also one of the five student-athletes spotlighted by the Post-Dispatch.
