Class of 2019 Alumnus Jimmy Obertop has carried his baseball success from his time at Westminster into his college career.
Jimmy started his college career at Michigan where he accumulated 29 homers in his four-year career as a Wolverine. This year as a graduate student, he transferred to Clemson to continue his baseball journey. Jimmy is carrying a .290 average on the season, while helping the Tigers to a current 32-8 record and a first place spot in the ACC Atlantic division.
His highlight of the season came in the second game of last Saturday's double-header when he hit 3 home-runs in the game, pushing his season total to 14, and leading the Tigers to a 9-2 win over conference rival Pittsburgh. Jimmy's performance was highlighted on the
Where Are They Now podcast at the 4:45 mark.
