This week six Wildcat Field Hockey girls received the special honor of being named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad.

Each year the NFHCA honors junior and senior field hockey players with a GPA over 3.5 with a selection to the Academic Squad. Additionally, a student-athlete will be named as a Scholar of Distinction if their GPA eclipses 3.9. This year we had six girls named to the Academic squad, with two also being named as a Scholar of Distinction*. Honorees listed below.

Kennedy McGowan, Corinne Plumb, Rebecca Rothrock*, Sadie Schmidt*, Peyton Whitley, and Sophia Zara.
