MSHSAA announced its 2025–26 basketball class and district assignments on Friday, November 21, giving Westminster's boys and girls basketball programs a look at their postseason landscape. With both teams returning key contributors, the Wildcats are preparing for an exciting winter on the court.
Boys Basketball — Class 5 District 2
The boys program enters the season fresh off a 25–7 campaign and a 3rd Place finish at the 2025 Class 5 State Tournament. Their new postseason route places them in a deep and competitive Class 5 District 2 that includes several strong returning squads.

Lutheran South (15–11) — Conference opponent
Mehlville (8–17)
Pacific (10–17)
Rockwood Summit (12–15)

The boys officially open the season on Tuesday, November 25, when they travel to Lutheran St. Charles.
Girls Basketball — Class 4 District 6
The girls program also received its 2025–26 district placement on Friday, joining a balanced six-team field. Westminster looks to build off last year's postseason momentum after securing a 2025 District Championship.

Normandy Collaborative (6–13)
Villa Duchesne (7–14)
