Saturday afternoon's Homecoming game was about more than football—it was an opportunity to celebrate the dedication, leadership, and school spirit of the Class of 2026. Before kickoff, Westminster honored its football players, cheerleaders, and dancers who have given so much to their teams and the Wildcat community.
The football program recognized eight players and one manager: Stavros Afentoullis, Rory Austin, Warren Barnes, Xander DeVerger, Matthew Hays, Alywin Kluttz Jr., Connor Levin, Stephen Skaggs, and team manager Olivia Reel. This group has put in a lot of time and energy to help push the program forward over the last four years. Their post-graduation plans range from continuing their athletic careers to pursuing degrees in fields like business, engineering, and aviation.
The cheer program celebrated two seniors, Isabelle Clawson and Bella Hugo, who have brought energy, leadership, and faith-filled encouragement to the sidelines and beyond. Both have served the school community through Peer Counseling, Student Council, and other leadership roles while inspiring younger athletes through their example.
The dance team honored four seniors: Maddie Butler, Brianne Joseph, Azaria Spearman, and Ali Renfert. These talented performers have each made their mark through years of dedication to the program, blending artistry, discipline, and teamwork. Their future plans include studying fields such as law, film, forensic science, and architecture.
Together, these seniors represent the heart of Westminster Athletics—students who pursue excellence, faith, and teamwork in all they do. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 Football, Cheer, and Dance seniors!
